Is the Audi R8 RWD the supercar you want?

A lot of you petrolheads will know the Audi R8 RWS -Rear Wheel Series- with a limited number of 999 pieces. This R8 RWD, Rear Wheel Drive (makes more sense), is the successor to the RWS.

This Audi R8 RWD is a normal R8 but with less. Less horsepower, less weight, less "powered-wheels" and less organs to sell. Yes, this Audi R8 RWD is cheaper than the Quattro-one. And maybe that's the reason why this car could be the best R8 in history.

The Audi R8 RWD will be available as a coupe and spyder with a naturally aspirated V10 always linked to the seven-speed S tronic transmission. This beauty of an engine puts out 532 hp and 540 Nm of torque that will launch the RWD tot 100 km/u in 3,7 seconds while the top speed is 320 km/u for the coupe. The spyder is a tent of a second slower to 100 km/u -thanks to the extra weight- and will only hit 318 km/u.

The R8 V10 RWD coupe lost 65 kg and the spyder 55 kg thanks to skipping the Quattro. It also results in the price decreasing with 22.000 euro making this R8 the bargain of 2020? And almost nobody will tell the difference between the RWD and the Quattro. The only difference is the sideblade that will have a black top part and a body-colored bottom part. the front blade side sill inserts and diffuser are painted in glossy black but can be changed in carbon.

Next year we can welcome the Audi R8 RWD and it is not limited. So time enough to sell your organs to raise the money. We would go for a white one with a black sideblade.
