2020 Mercedes-AMG E53 Spearheads Facelift

Draw attention, the 2020 Mercedes-AMG E53 can do that.

In 2016 Mercedes-Benz launched the 10th generation E-Class, in 2017 the brand launched the E53 flavor. Today the 2020 Mercedes-AMG E53 is used to draw in eyes for the 2020 facelift E-Class. And with every right to do so. We had the opportunity to drive inline, 3-liter AMG drivetrain and enjoyed every bit of its GT character. The brand hasn't touched that engine, but there's been plenty of other changes. Yes, good stuff. Stuff like drift mode and it gets AMG Ride Control+ air suspension now too.

Stare at pictures of the 2020 Mercedes-AMG E53, you'll learn a lot about what facelift is all about. The facelifted E-Class gets a fresh jacket from back to front and has gotten smarter too. The dash may appear the same on the hardware side, but it now utilizes the wonderful MBUX. And that means all the good things like AMG Track Pack are included for the 2020 Mercedes-AMG. New materials and 2 new steering wheels are included in the facelift too.

New light units front and back give the 2020 E-Class a look which almost makes it look exotic. Revised body panels didn't transform the car as much, but do pull the car in line with the current Mercedes design langue. The new looks will undoubtedly boost sales, which are already at a staggering 1.2 million units. We're looking forward to getting our hands on one.

Down below you'll find a gallery of the 'standard' E-Cass facelift. Don't be fooled though, this is the real sales hit.
