Mercedes- AMG GT Four-Door Leaked Ahead of Geneva Debut

The wildly anticipated Mercedes-AMG GT four-door is what everyone is looking forward to see on the show floor in Geneva. So that makes it vulnerable for leaks like these revealing the 610 hp AMG four door.

Mercedes can tease all they want but even their Mercedes-AMG GT four-door is not safe for leaks. A low resolution picture of the upcoming four door GT reveals the already infamous panamerica grille, muscular lines all around, a sloping roof line and a spoiler at the back. Yes we're definitly looking at the four door GT, most likely in an Edition One package since teasers from Mercedes show a spoilerless GT.

The Mercedes-AMG GT four-door is essentially the more aggressive version of the CLS63 while still being different to the new generation CLS.
The car will be competing against the new BMW M8 Gran Coupe, that is getting revealed at the same time as the four-door AMG, the upcoming Audi RS7 and the Porsche Panamera.

The car will be revealed with the same heart found in the Mercedes-AMG E63S featuring a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 with 612 hp and 850 Nm's. But as with most AMG's. There's never too much power and that also reflects onto the Mercedes-AMG GT four-door as it'll most likely get a more hardcore trim with an 800 hp hybrid V8 powertrain.

Stay tuned for more news about the Geneva Motorshow this week.
