Jon Olsson takes delivery of "Monster" Huracan

What does a modified, army-print wrapped, Lamborghini remind you of? Yup, it's yet another crazy creation by revered pro-skier Jon Olsson.

Our world needs people like Jon Olsson and his relentless pursuit for the ultimate form of winter transportation. He does what so many can only dream of; modifying the latest supercars into absolute monsters. At this point in time it has become a sort of tradition to build these cars but for this run it's more 'go' and a lot less 'show'.Where previous builds by Jon Olsson have seen wide-bodies, crazy aero and extreme motor-tuning, this build was different. In his blog John states that he aimed more at reliability and didn't want to compromise the way the car handles. This resulted in no wide-body and some arguably reliable engine tuning. Arguably yes, as slapping a supercharger onto a NA 10-cylinder can only be seen as a reliably modification in the relative sense.

Now pushing out over 800 horsepower, the V10 isn’t the only part of the Huracan that has been modified. He has lowered it via a K&W suspension setup, made it louder via an Akrapovich exhaust system and slapped on the obligatory skibox. Look closely and you’ll notice that this “monster” is not wearing ceramics. Jon explains that in the cold weather he uses the cars in, ceramics actually function terribly. Instead, he now used good ol’ steel.

Want to see the car in action? You’ll find in the vlog below.
