Geneva 2017 | Lamborghini Huracan Performante is a game-changer

Farewell Superleggera

Behold: the brand new Lamborghini Huracan Performante in all its glory. The car is a champion, one we should all drool at, it's awesome according to Lamborghini. And they're right, as this car is barely comparable with an normal Huracan anymore.

Why? Well the 750% increase in downforce is one of them. Yes, 750%. Months and months of teasing went by, a lap record happened and it got spied of course. Now we finally get the full view of the car, showing plenty of forged carbon throughout out vehicle. Something that helps reach a 40 kilogram weight drop.

One that could have been bigger if the brand didn't slap all the extra parts on the Huracán Performante, parts that make it so damn crazy. 50% increased overall stiffness and 10% stiffer suspension, more active aero than your average airliner, you get the point: it really is a hardcore version. A thought strengthened by it being the carries of the most powerful V10 from Lamborghini to date. A total 640 horsepower and 600 Nm comes from the V10, launching the car to a hundred in just 2.9 seconds.

Oh and the sounds? There's a new double-tip exhaust system in rear, because racecar. You can hear it properly in the video they launched, and the looks you see in the gallery!
