BMW M2 testing at the nurburgring yet again

So you think the M235i is hot? Just wait untill you see and hear this thing, the new BMW M2. Where BMW has had a long history with the M5, M6 and M3, we aren't that used to small BMW Motorsport products.

Yet..The 130i of the previous generation was one of the first more performance orientated small cars with a normal chassis BMW offered. Normal meaning nothing to fancy or exotic. Adding the Coupe to that generation gave us the 1M Coupe with a limited production and the following generation gave us the M performance models like the M235i and M135i. "So this is... kind of new right?" Yup it is and we at CJ are all looking forward to this car.

No limited production run this time. The car will be equipped with the same engine as the 235i but in a more powerful configuration, power is expected to be in the range of 360-370 horsepower and 450 NM of torque. Mechanical diff, agressive spoiler-works, ceramic breaks all make this a very 'much want' car. Launch? Probably at the IAA Frankfurt this year ( which we will be attending).
