Aston Martin Vantage Roadster, just in time for the summer

And the award for best "south of France"-cruiser 2020 goes to … drum roll … the Aston Martin Vantage Roadster!

More than 2 years (!) did it take for Aston Martin to make this Vantage Roadster, but it was worth it. One of the most gorgeous coupés of the moment now loses its roof and donates miles of headroom. Even more, the new Aston Martin Vantage Roadster has to hit the streets this summer!

In the base, the Vantage Roadster has all the same tweaks as his coupé-brother. A 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 510 hp and an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Just like every roadster, the car is just a little bit slower than its closed family. That means 0-60 mph (96,6 km/h) in 3,7 seconds and a top speed of 306 km/h. The "normal" Vantage takes 0,1 second less and hits 314 km/h.

Aston Martin claims to have the fastest fully automatic convertible roof out there, 6,7 seconds to open and 6,8 seconds to close. The roof can be operated with a speed up to 50 km/h. Trunk space is a decent 200 liters, enough for a weekend at your villa in Saint Tropez.
