Agera RS Naraya unveiled and heading for Salon Privé

Another special 'Egg but is there even such a thing as a 'normal' Koenigsegg?

Love carbon fiber and gold? Then the Koenigsegg Agera RS Naraya should knock you off your socks with its overload of these materials. Officially unveiled today, the latest Agera RS to roll out of the factory is a one-off. Technically the car has remained an Agera RS. Meaning it features a twin turbo V8 engine producing 1160hp and 1280Nm of torque. It's when you get into the details, only then will the Agera RS Naraya show how truly unique it is.

Blue carbon fiber alone is nothing new, just take a look at the BHP-project One:1, it's the fact that the Naraya is the first ever Koenigsegg to use a blue carbon fiber tub chassis. The owner really pushed the customization to the limit. That far that the brand flew in a specialist craftsman from Italy to create the gold leaf details on the interior and exterior. And had to use an American based diamond specialist to supply the 155 cultured diamond needed for the name tag.

The gold leaf was applied by hand at the Koenigsegg factory in Angelholm, Sweden, by Ettore ‘Blaster’ Callegaro, a renowned craftsman from Italy, famed for his work with customised cars and motorcycles. The process took two full weeks, working 12 hour days, six days per week.

Want to see this beauty in the flesh? Salon Privé at Blenheim Palace, from September 1-3 is your best chance.
