Paris is here and that means lots of car news, new models and of course leaks! News surrounding the upcoming F12 successor also popped up, good news.
During big car events you get to talk to the big boys, not all of us do but here are some lucky enough to ask Ferrari about the upcoming Ferrari F12 successor. AutoCar did so and found out that the naturally aspirated V12 won’t be lost in the process of taking the Ferrari GT into its next stage of evolution.
Rumored to debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, the F12 successor will be an evolution of the existing model. It will adopt many technical features of recently launched models like the dual-screen setup know from the GTC4Lusso. Genes from the F12tdf will also find their way into the model. Both the power jump and the virtual short wheelbase are expected to make its way into the arsenal.
So when will we loose the naturally aspirated V12? Most likely is when the all-new flagship lands, as this is more like an extensive rework. That car is expected to arrive in late 2020.
