Can’t really call this Aston Martin timeless, right?
Normally special editions trigger an intens cynicism, but the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Edition manages to escape that cliche. How? Well, they’ve done quite and extensive job in terms of esthetics. Technically they left the DBS Superleggera for what it was, and at 725 HP and 900Nm, no soul should feel remorse about the lack of a power increase. See, no reason for cynicism…
Pirelli Color Edition tires, the exterior and the interior all show the same contrast: red details on a predominantly black surfaces. That black on the outside wears the name Monaco Black and shows a slight tint of colour in it. All 50 units will have this styling, as far as the Facebook post tells us.
So why this collaboration that gave birth to the DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Edition? Well, if you’ve been interested in racing you should know. These two brands go hand-in-hand when it comes to racing and that lead to a special watch last year (and some victories). That trick has been repeated for the buyers of these 50 units. Don’t think they’ll have time to look at their wrists while piloting this car though.
