Spyker is putting the C8 Preliator card on the table for the mighty teasing game ahead of the Geneva Motor Show; are they serious or just bluffing again?
The C8 Preliator is the latest of many cars presented by the Dutch brand Spyker, where the most of the models presented have sadly never reached production due to a vast variety of problems that plagued the company the last decade. Wether the C8 Preliator will ever reach production is uncertain. The launch is set for the first of March, 14.30 CET during the Geneva International Motor Show.
The C8 has been around since the year 2000 but there is no indication that the C8 Preliator will be build on the same chassis or even the same general layout, in fact very little is known at all. The ‘older’ C8 layout was rather simple, a Audi V8 powered GT with a lot of details incorporated into the car, details that showed in the price tag of 300.000 euros for most of Spykers models. Models like the C8 Spyder and C8 Double 12 S, models that did actually reach production.
Will be attending the launch live, so stay tuned.
