2020 Brussels Motor Show: What do you need to see?

While a lot of motor shows lost brands and public, the Brussels Motor Show is a booming business. If you are planning to visit the show, we advise you to go through this list.

Palace 3

In palace 3, you can find the "Groupe PSA". Citroën, DS Automobiles, Opel and  Peugeot are showing their cars. But the one car we especially liked was the Peugeot e-208 GT-line. The design, technology, and 3D cockpit got us blown away.

Palace 4

Palace 4 is a collection of different brands with different attitudes and visions. Here you will find Subaru, Ford (No Mustang Mach-E?), Kia, Isuzu, Honda, and Suzuki. Maybe to your surprise, but go take a look at Subaru. They are showing their new e-Boxer hybrid set-up in the Forester and XV.

Palace 5

Some really strong contenders in palace 5! The biggest stand is without a doubt for Mercedes-Benz, a trend we've seen on multiple motor shows. The other brands are Volvo, Nissan, Dacia, and Renault. If you ask me, I would choose the new Mercedes-AMG CLA shooting brake or the crazy fast Nissan GT-R. But Beau insisted that the prize is given to the Renault Twingo. Prepossessed?

Palace 6

Next to Mitsubishi, Hyundai, MG -yes, they are back-, Maserati, Mazda, Tesla, Jaguar, and Land Rover. There was also Polestar. It was impossible for us to pick one car here. The two cars that made a powerful impression were the new Jaguar F-Type and the all-electric Polestar 2.

Palace 7

Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Fiat, Jeep, Lexus, Toyota, Mini, and BMW are put together in palace 7. There are some pretty strong competitors here. Toyota Supra, the M2 CS, The M8 Gran Coupé and convertible. But there was one car sticking out. The Mini John Cooper Works GP, a pocket rocket that brings 306 hp to the front wheels.

Palace 11

There is one group we haven't mentioned yet. The Volkswagen group is present in palace 11 with Skoda, Seat, Cupra, Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche. A few of the possible winners for the title were the Porsche Taycan, Audi RS 6 and the new Volkswagen Golf. But the Volkswagen ID.3 is the most important car for the group in the years to come.

There is one Palace we didn't talk about yet. Palace 1, the palace with the dream cars and maybe the most impressive to see. Awesome enough to earn a special article.
