Aston Martin is pushing hard to realize their multi-model endeavor, the proof being the 2018 Aston Martin Vantage prototype spotted yesterday.
The 2018 Aston Martin Vantage is a car to look forward to as petrolheads, positioned in the lineup as the car for track enthusiasts and as the company’s competition racing-car. Set to launch as quick as next year, the car was spotted testing at the Green Hell yesterday.
Heavily packed, it shows very little of what it will look like as a finished product, it does however show that it will be 2-seater sports car. Although the looks are hidden, it was made clear by Andy Palmer that the 2018 Aston Martin Vantage will bear great resemblance to the DB10 starring in the latest James Bond movie.
Differentiating itself from the rest of the pack, the Vantage will house an enige from one the latest partners of the brand; AMG. Their 4.0-liter V8 will power the upcoming Vantage after being revised to fit an English jacket rather than a German one. No official statements on the power output have been made till date, but it will have less weight to haul around thanks to the new aluminum chassis used by the English. We’ll keep you updated as more information about the 2018 Vantage rolls in.
